Associates of Adult Seperation Anxiety Disorder among University Students: A Case Control Study

Purpose: Separation anxiety is a state of extreme anxiety, felt by an individual in case separation from attachment figure. It was aimed to investigate styles, temperament traits, childhood trauma and dissociative experiences university students diagnosed with adult disorder (ASAD). 
 Methods: Sixty five students, have ASAD structured clinical interview were compared healthy via˝Adult Attachment Style Questionnaire (AAQ)," "Childhood Trauma (CTQ)," "Temperament Evaluation Memphis, Pisa, Paris San Diego Auto-questionnaire (TEMPS-A)," "Dissociative Experiences Scale (DES)." Results: Twenty two (33.8%) had problems orientation getting used university. According AAQ, higher prevalence insecure especially high ambivalent styles CTQ, significantly scores all subscales except physical abuse.
